Having written discrete apps for driving the Valve Wizard Valve Analyser and the prototype Valve Design Calculator, both with modelling capabilities, I have now started to amalgamate all these capabilities into a single Valve Workbench tool. Its default tab will offer design tools, e.g. the accurate simulation of load lines for triodes and pentodes based on valve models. Two other tabs are provided, one for creating models based on actual measurements (according to the valve modelling theory of Derk Reefman et al., and expanded on this site), and a third for acquiring measurements directly from the Valve Analyser.
